Lucy fue formado en el show competitivo de bandas de JTBC☆Programa: Superband emitido en abril del 2019
El grupo se fue formando a medida que iba avanzando en las rondas de esta competencia:
▪Ronda 3
☆Junhyuk, gwangil y yechan☆
presentaron un cover de la cancion 'Hold back in the river' (by James boy).
-Gwangil inicialmente era guitarrista, pero al ver q les faltaba energía por no tener un baterista, Decidió intentar tocar la batería y se esforzó para mejorar♡
▪Ronda 4
Junhyuk quería trabajar con Wonsang como productor, y le preguntó si le gustaría unirse al equipo, quedando así Lucy con 4 integrantes.
☆junhyuk, Yechan, Gwangil y Wonsang☆
Presentaron 'swim' (orig. Fickle Friends) y quedaron en 2do puesto con 453 puntos, solo 2 puntos abajo que el primer puesto!
▪Semifinal
Los 4 integrantes presentaron un cover de 'cry bird' (orig. TennySon) y quedaron en 1er puesto con un total de 7460 puntos
▪Final, ronda 1
Para las finales, Lucy quería intentar componer su propia canción
Esta fue snooze
Acabaron con un puntaje total de 14668 puntos
▪Ronda Final definitiva
Para esta final ☆junhyuk, yechan, wonsang y gwangil☆ quisieron presentar otra vez una canción hecha por ellos mismos, fue asi como presentaron Flare.
Finalmente Lucy quedo en 2do Lugar y Hoppipolla en 1ro (stan hoppipolla)

Como ya saben, Lucy originalmente estaba compuesto por:

Pero antes de que acabe el programa, junhyuk decidió volver a su grupo original 'GIFT', Choi sangyeob se unió al grupo como el nuevo vocalista quedando asi el grupo final!!

-as the prepared for the stage, they realized they were missing the energy of drums. Having a little prior experience, gwangil decided to try playing the drums ♡

Junhyuk wanted to work with wonsang as a producer and asked him to join their team, with wonsang in the team, Lucy was finally a 4 member group.

Lucy placed 2nd with 453 points, only 2 points under 1st place!

But the vocalist, Lee junhyuk, decided to return to his original band 'GIFT' after the show ended. Choi sangyeop, joined the group as the new vocalist. This was the final Lucy that debuted!!♡
